I couldn't sleep because of this stupid tooth this morning so I got up, took my pills, and looked out the window as I waited until they kicked and what should my eyes see?
Snow.
It's December 1, and it's snowing for the first time this winter.
Oh so lightly the flakes are being blown to the ground at an angle, as if the rain suddenly decided that after days it was time to abate and let winter finally come to Ohio. And even as I have begun to type this it is coming down more quickly and in bigger flakes. Not only that but the flakes are floating down now, still at the mercy of what I assume is the wind blowing them sideways, though more of a drifting downwards motion that a being pushed by an outside force.
I always forget how stunning snow is until it is once again coming down from the sky or has come down and is blanketing the world.
